Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Dr. Patangrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya has been taking efforts to prepare the students for central and competitive examinations. Our college took greater heights to prepare and encourage the students to prepare for such challenging examinations. So considering the need of today’s students to compete and face the challenges of the modern world, our college established the competitive exam guidance cell.

Our Vision is to see beyond the narrow walls of the classrooms and textbooks and promote out of the box thinking to empower every student to master the challenges of today and shape the worlds of tomorrow. We Endeavour to be the right mentor for UPSC, MPSC, Banking, Pre-Police training, Pre-Army Training etc. aspirants, while also helping them develop a global perspective, with a keen interest in community life! We prepare students for all competitive exams by providing in - depth knowledge of various subjects.
Our Mission
Our goal is to focus on the holistic development of each child, and to give them a competitive edge with the help of an extensive curriculum and dynamic teaching methodologies. We also facilitate student's success in various competitive & scholastic exams in India e.g. UPSC, MPSC, Banking, Pre-Police training, Pre-Army Training etc. To make students responsible, law abiding and enlightened citizens of a global society. To impart wisdom that transforms mere knowledge into a meaningful initiative and enterprise for a harmonious and prosperous society.
Objectives
Ø To provide awareness to the students about the various types of jobs offered both in the Central and State Government.
Ø To help the students to choose the area where they are interested.
Ø To develop competitive skills through various types of objective tests.
Ø To train them by conducting aptitude test based on verbal and quantitative skills.
Ø To enhance their ability to speak in English and face an interview.
Through this cell the college organizes various activities for the development of the students. The cell organizes special lectures, seminars, coaching and even counseling is given to the students by experts on regular basis. Various competitive exams are conducted by the government to secure a job. So the test format and subjects vary according to the level of the exam. Most are objective tests followed by a personality test.
The competitive exams are tough and the college trains the students well for all these in an efficient manner with well-trained experts. The students have lot of openings in leading public sector banks UPSC (Union Public Services Commission) and MPSC (Maharashtra Public Services Commission). Our college arranges various seminars and lectures from time to time to encourage the students to prepare for competitive Examinations.
A number of students take advantage of the activities conducted by this cell. They also learn about how to plan and prepare tactfully for the examination. We hope our young sarahs are prepared well to face the competitive world.
